Continuing Education: Faculty Expertise for Companies
Continuing education is for employees who wish to improve or diversify their skills through brief, targeted training sessions. The school offers introductory and advanced training covering technical, economic or managerial themes in the civil engineering sector.
The school offers two options for continuing education sessions:
- Inter-company sessions: these sessions are organized by ESITC Caen on set dates. The themes covered apply to all civil engineering professionals. The sessions are subject to quotas: a minimum number of participants is required and a maximum number is enforced to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Intra-company sessions: these sessions are designed “a la carte” in response to a company’s specific training needs. With the company’s goals in mind, ESITC-Caen works collaboratively with the company to develop a personalized training programme.
For the current year, ESITC-Caen’s continuing education will offer several training sessions for a diverse, experienced audience.
Six sessions are currently available:
- S1: Introduction to Civil Engineering Operations
- S2: Sustainable Development and Building Materials
- S3: Energy and Sustainable Development
- S4: Concrete Materials: Properties, Standards, Implementation
- S5: Laying Foundations and Embankments in the Consolidation of Roads
- S6: Behavior of Soil in the Optimization of Foundations and Embankments
