Long life learning allows companies to train their teams on the job.
Who is this training for?
- Trainee employees:
- Site supervisors in construction or public works seeking opportunities for professional development and improving their skills.
- Employees with managerial experience in other sectors looking for an introduction to civil engineering.
- Job-seekers who need to acquire additional qualifications for a training contract:
- Individuals with a baccalaureate degree (secondary or high school level) and experience in the civil engineering sector, with a baccalaureate +2 years of study in Civil Engineering or a baccalaureate +3 years of study to a baccalaureate +5 years of study who are looking to make a career change.
What are the objectives?
To help the trainee acquire the skills needed to organize, monitor, advance and coordinate civil engineering projects; carry out managerial and supervisory functions; and learn the specifics of the civil engineering sector.
How is the training carried out?
Long life learnning follows a pedagogy that alternates courses, work in small groups, practical work and simulations throughout the training, allowing students to put their knowledge into practice.
To develop independence and real-world experience, internships with a company make up a significant portion of the programme (+50%). All of the school’s resources and facilities are available to the trainee (laboratories, drafting and surveying equipment and computers).
A final essay is completed based on a case study from the trainee’s employer and presented before a professional jury.
