WELCOMES FOREIGN STUDENTS

The following presentation has been realised within the framework of the ECTS organisation.

The ECTS (European Credit Transfert System) is a program elaborated by the European Union to encourage exchanges between european universities. This system is aiming to the recognition of the academic studies within the European Union, using the same measures for all universities as well is the best understanding of the different national educational systems.

First of all, it's a methodology providing tools to allow transparency, to create the necessary conditions for a cooperation between universities and to increase the choices of studies for the students.

The ECTS program is based o­n three major points :

- information o­n study plans and the student results ;

- mutual agreement between cooperating universities and the student

- a common use of the ECTS Credits.

This system is operational thanks to a complete information file, a study contract and the ECTS Credit awarding given in the school report.
